How to grow YouTube channel 2022

Beginners' Guide to Growing a YouTube Channel in 2022

All the steps That I am going to share are equally crucial for every beginner to take into account before starting his YouTube channel.

Let's get started!

Step 1: Choose a suitable name

If you want to grow your YouTube channel. The first step you must take to grow your YouTube channel is crucial. And if you don't care about this one, it will be difficult to grow your channel on YouTube that is related to your name. If the name of your YouTube channel is not attractive and attentive, and people do not feel any kind of attraction to the channel, the name of your channel should be changed, the growth of your YouTube channel will be significantly reduced because many people will see your channel's name as the first thing they see when they visit your channel. Don't you think so? Try this test on yourself whenever you want to watch a YouTube video. Don't you look at the channel's name and see if the channel name is attractive or not, for example, if your channel name is educational. but your videos are all about games, then this type of channel has no chance to grow on YouTube because it's doing something irrelevant. To protect yourself from it, you need to take care of it because this is important.

Step 2: Go for Quality not Quantity

Your content needs to be qualitative, not quantitative. Most of the beginners who start YouTube channels make a big mistake at this step. They keep uploading more and more videos without realizing that getting more views and quality content matters, and this is the type of content YouTube encourages. The other type of content doesn't stand much of a chance of being promoted, since YouTube's algorithm doesn't work that way. YouTube's algorithm only promotes the videos with the longest watch time, not the ones that don't get a lot of watch time. Therefore, you must be careful. Now we come to the third point.

Step 3: Get External Reach

For beginners, this is the hardest part when you have a creative name and compelling content. Now the third thing left is to reach a huge audience. So where do you get that from? So this is a tricky thing. But it works, and you can easily grow your YouTube channel with this useful trick, which is related to your Facebook accounts and other social media accounts. Yes, what I'm trying to say here is that you should go there and try to build your community, which isn't too difficult. Especially not on Facebook. You only need to find five thousand friends on Facebook, which is not difficult. You just have to send a request. And familiarize yourself with them. And try to find at least 100 friends, which is possible. All it takes is just a small amount of time, or at least more than a month, two, or three months. It doesn't matter how much you take. But if you have at least a hundred friends. You can easily grow your channel, and it will help you a lot in the future. To grow your YouTube channel, the first goal for any beginner is to reach the first hundred subscribers, not the 1000 subscribers. You need to understand the difference between 1K subscribers and 100 subscribers. It's best not to set the goal of 1,000 subscribers too soon, as it's too early to get to that point. So always set a goal of 100 subscribers at the beginning. The YouTube algorithm will work for you and automatically give you more subscribers. How's that? Let me explain. When you have 100 subscribers. Your videos will be viewed at least 50 times by your 50 subscribers out of those 100 subscribers. YouTube's algorithm alone gives you half the views, giving you 100 views. Now, those other 50 views won't be from your existing subscribers. They come from other unknown people watching YouTube. First things first, your content should be something trending because if your content wouldn't be so famous or trendy, the chance of it growing is less. Therefore, you must consider all the steps to achieve your main goal.

Step 4: Engage with your subscribers

If your subscribers aren't happy with your content, there's no chance of growing your channel. Always try to satisfy your subscribers, even if you have 10 subscribers. Create content that suits their interests and encourage them to subscribe to your channel. Create content similar to what they want you to create. To do this, when a subscriber comments on your YouTube video, go and ask them about it. “Want more videos like this" and ask them for more recommendations. I will also encourage you to make a video by asking in a video to give you recommendations on what type of content you should make next. Always give a hint at the end of each video telling what type of content you should make next. This will help your subscribers get in touch with you. Subscribers are very important, just as important as your content, because if your first few subscribers aren't happy with you, eventually the new will never come; the existing subscribers will unsubscribe as well, and you'll be left without subscribers. So your goal is to keep your subscribers happy, even if it's just one or two.

Step 5: Conclusion

Well, the last step is all about you, keep making your videos. If you stop at some point, you probably no longer will have the motivation to improve your YouTube content because most beginners leave too soon. The only reason is that they no longer feel any motivation is because of not having too many views. And it's understandable, because you don't find any potential in your content or when you do find potential in your content. You will not find supporting viewers or subscribers. So what can you do in this situation? To get out of this situation, all you have to worry about is keeping making videos. This fifth step of this blog is a combination of the previous four steps, so you must take care of all the previous four steps. Only then can you have your first dollar and subscriber.
